While other countries combat greenhouse gas emissions by focusing on carbon dioxide from transport, power generation and industry, New Zealand is concerned about methane emissions from sheep and cows. To quantify and find ways to reduce these emissions, researchers are investigating both ends of the animals. They hope to develop feed that will produce less methane.

it's definitely the right subject for a country where there are more sheep than people (someone told me once, i think)
This is amazing, finally someone is looking in to a problem that has been niggling so many of us, Thank You New Zealand
amezing
good idea but why make the sheep into an item and not a life, im not even vegaterian but i still dont really like the idea of an animal im probebley going to eat providing me with gas aswell, dont get me wrong as i do think if we kill an animal we should use it all for as many uses as we can but making that animal carry that gear around all the time isent the good,it is not the free life it deserves before the end.
good idea !
