Tito Ingenieri built his house out of six million empty bottles. He will gladly teach anyone how to build this kind of ecological house that recycles materials and keeps the streets clean. In his town of Quilmes, Argentina, people gladly give him their empty bottles and admire his artistic creation.

Nice one but are the sticking out 'ends' a danger in the UK considering our big brother H&S rules!!!
Great idea, but what about the energy used in having a new liver transplant before you can move in?
Brillant. Have to honestly admit to liking my home comforts too much but you have to admire the man.
In Thailand also have a Temple which made by recycling bottle.

I have an uncle who has done a similar thing, although he has stacked the bottles with bases facing to both sides of the walls, and extended the mortar mixture to the edge of both ends of the bottles, which makes the walls thicker and deals with the worry of having the necks of the bottles sticking out. It can look very stylish if it is planned properly :)
